PROFILEDr Judy McGonigal offers private General Practice services at TMCK. Apart from both male and female general health, Judy's main interests are sexual health, sexual health screening and general psychiatry, in particular depression.
After qualifying at Edinburgh Medical School, she trained in Paediatrics before entering General Practice and became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2003. Judy previously practised at Brook Green Medical Centre, Hammersmith, London W6 before establishing her General Practice here at TMCK. She continues to work part time as Deputy Clinical Director for a private company providing General Practice services in West London.
Judy is always keen to learn and keep up to date. She will shortly commence a Masters Degree in Allergy at Imperial College London to gain a deeper understanding of this increasingly common medical problem. Judy says "I believe in providing high quality medical care with a sound evidence and ethical basis to decisions, while at the same time treating each Patient as an individual. My holistic approach will help Patients achieve a better sense of both physical and mental wellbeing". When not working, Judy runs, including half marathons and marathons and skis. More recently, she has started ski touring in the Alps and the Arctic Circle. She is interested in the Great Outdoors and is a member of the Royal Geographical Society.
