PROFILEDr Les Berger is responsible for ultrasound scanning of soft tissue, neck and thyroid, abdominal, paediatric and neonatal scans at TMCK. He is a highly experienced radiological ultrasound specialst active in ultrasound since the mid 1970's. He was tasked by the Royal Free Hospital Hampstead NHS Trust to implement and expand their ultrasound service. Dr Berger was one of the pioneers in ultrasound guided biopsy FNA and the percutaneous abscesses. He has run the Royal College of Radiology Ultrasound Teaching Programme and sat on the Regional Ultrasound Advisory Committee. Like his colleague, Mr Bill Smith, Dr Berger is a renowned lecturer on the subject both nationally and internationally.
