Barrie Savory One Of The UK And Europe's Most Experienced And Respected Osteopaths Opens Second Clinic At TMCK

Barrie Savory, one of the UK and Europe's most experienced and respected Osteopaths, has just opened a second clinic at TMCK, so he now practises both in Harley Street and Kensington.  Barrie is a Registered Osteopath, qualified at the British School of Osteopathy and then embarked on a distinguished career as both a teacher and practitioner of his chosen profession.  He has been both Directeur of the cole Europeene d'Ostéopathie and Principal of the European School of Osteopathy and continues to teach post graduates throughout Europe.  Barrie is well versed in both musculoskeletal and cranial osteopathy. 

He is also author of the highly acclaimed "The Good Back Guide" in which he outlines his developed approach to the treatment of the most common musculoskeletal disorders and their causes.  Barrie says that all animals have arrived at today by evolving to live in harmony with their environment.  Except us.  We have created our own environment but, ironically, have not yet evolved to live in harmony with it.  When, some 3 million years ago, we first emerged from the jungle, balancing upright on just two legs, it must have been a struggle for our spines to adapt.  After all, we used them horizontally for several million years before that.  So began our problems with posture.  At first, the necessity for survival in those harsh conditions was our strength.  Our real problems began when we started to sit down.  Barrie says "We are more and more victims of the office desk, computer, soft unsupporting chair, car and car seat.  We survived very well standing upright when we first emerged from the jungle, but we're doing a very bad job of surviving our too sedentary modern world.".
