TMCK + London 2012 Olympics...Traffic Restrictions And Disruption

TMCK is located just to the south of Cromwell Road (A4), which is part of the Olympic Route Network.  All ORNs in and around London will have additional restrictions on traffic movement at certain times.  So, for example, the two central lanes on Cromwell Road will be restricted to Olympic related traffic some of the time.  The amount of disruption is of course currently unknown, but it is reasonable to assume delays, some possibly considerable.  So we advise that where possibe you use public transport, particularly as we are very conveniently located between two underground stations, Earl's Court and Gloucester Road.

All of the public transport network will be affected, so it must be sensible to allow additional time for all of your journeys from mid-July to mid-September.  We anticipate varying levels of disruption during this entire period as Olympic personnel, trainers and the athletes themselves will be in London prior to the Games and also for a short time after them.  The levels of disruption will vary considerably dependent of course on where events are held and the Transport for London website indicates where the hotspots will be.  You can find this information here.  There will then be a similar period around the Paralympic Games.
