Dr David Nyberg and Ciara Mckenna (angrily) comment on how not to run an ultrasound clinic.
"It’s appalling for anyone who cares about ultrasound and understands both it's potential power, and failings in the wrong hands. Both Ciara and I have never missed a case of spina bifida in our entire career. Ever. It really should never be missed because of associated cranial findings. Any clinic that misses one - let alone 3 - should not be in business. I will be happy to act as a consultant for the plaintiffs in any legal cases against this clinic. They obviously have very poorly trained sonographers and if they have physicians involved, they obviously don’t review the images. That clinic does not deserve to be in business. Perhaps you can fill the void when they go out of business?
This is what happens when you have 37 clinics and offer 15 minute scans. Like McDonald’s but with no supervisors and 0 quality control."
