Dr Naureen Rizvi is a highly qualified and skilled dentist who always makes every effort to deliver high-quality and evidence-based dental treatment. She cares deeply about her patients’ well-being and is known for her ability to treat anxious patients and children.
She specialises in the replacement and aesthetic restoration of teeth and has a particular interest in managing tooth wear, tooth discolouration, dental anomalies and restoration of dental implants.
Dr Rizvi is a Specialist and Clinical Lecturer in Prosthodontics at University College London. She completed her Specialty Training and Master of Clinical Dentistry programme with distinction at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute London in 2021.
Naureen qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2013 and then did 3 years of postgraduate clinical training at King’s College Hospital. Her training involved posts in Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health.
She was then appointed a Clinical Teacher in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at King’s College London. Dr Rizvi has an innate passion for teaching and continues to teach postgraduate students at University College London and King’s College London.
She has authored publications, presented at academic meetings, and is currently researching the compatibility of non-original dental implant components. In 2020, she was awarded a Research Grant by the International College of Prosthodontists and nominated for the Dean’s Research Prize at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
