Introducing the Meet and Greet. Get to know your Dentist before becoming a patient.

What is a Meet and Greet? It’s your opportunity to meet, question and get to know the dentist of your choice before committing to becoming a patient. It allows you to "check out" the dentist and the type of treatment and care you can expect.

This Meet and Greet is without obligation and you can be sure that we will never pressure you.

What can you expect? You can ask the about his/her skills and expertise, care philosophy, methods of treatment and anything else which comes to mind. We encourage you to ask about anything and everything you want to know. A Meet and Greet appointment lasts 15 minutes. Please remember that it is not a dental consultation and we will not treat you.

Can I Meet and Greet more than one dentist so that I can compare? Yes you can. We encourage you to Meet and Greet as many of the dentists here as you wish so that you can decide who will best meet your needs.

Do we charge you? No. We want you to be 100% comfortable with your choice and of course you are not yet our patient.

Do you always need a Meet and Greet? No, the choice is yours. We give you a lot of information on this website so this is an opportunity to learn even more. But we encourage you to take advantage of it, because it’s the only way you will know whether or not you will be 100% comfortable. And that's what we want you to be.

When are Meet and Greet appointments available? We will do our best to offer an appointment which is convenient for you. We offer you one Meet and Greet appointment with each dentist. If you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours prior to the appointment. We will not offer a Meet and Greet appointment to anyone who rearranges or cancels more than twice.

This is the first step of your journey to a healthy and beautiful smile.

Make an appointment

We need time to get to know you so these appointments are longer than for a general dental examination and we will note your full medical history.

What happens during your first visit?

We know that visiting a dentist can make some people nervous. If this is you, rest assured that we will do all we can to make you feel comfortable and at ease. We can talk about any worries you have, address any specific concerns about your oral health and discuss the options which will help.

At your first appointment we will thoroughly check your teeth, gums and bite, including a mouth cancer screening. We routinely take x-rays to assess any issues which need to be addressed. The type of x-rays vary from small intra-oral ones to full 3D scans of both jaws. We will then go through the various treatment options.

This is also a great opportunity for us to review your usual oral hygiene regime and identify any improvements you can make. This is a really important part of achieving and maintaining excellent oral health.

Our Patient Reviews

Our son left feeling confident

Dr Heintz listened carefully to all of our concerns and explained everything. We left really reeassured about the treatment and are so happy that a friend recommended Dr Heintz to us. She went out of her way to help our 8 year old son, was patient and explained things so that he could understand the plan. Our son left feeling confident and it was an excellent experience for him. Thank you Dr Heintz for going the extra mile to help us.
