The only issue was that I explained my severe allergies and I was prescribed an item that included a known allergen that causes anaphylactic shock. This could have been extremely dangerous for me. However the treatment and response to this issue was handled very well.

Dr Perera was absolutely excellent. Very caring, very considerate and I felt so much better after the consultation. Dr Perera was recommended to me by a work colleague. She took time to explain the treatment options and I am now on my treatment plan for Psoriasis and already seeing improvement in the very short period of time since the consultation. Thank you so much.

Dr Perera has to this point minus any future regressions changed my life, both physically and mentally. The skin disorder I have had for over 3 years meant I hadn’t been able to wear a t-shirt or shorts during this time after trying more medications prescribed and off the shelf than one could imagine. She listened, she understood, she prescribed medication that started to heal very quickly and I’m still in that healing place! Often people don’t go to a leading specialist due to cost or because they have just lost faith… I’m so glad I did as now I can enjoy so much more with my young family, holidays and just general life.

Dr Perera was absolutely fantastic. I arrived feeling highly anxious about my skin condition not being managed by the NHS appropriately and having multiple negative experiences of NHS Dermatologists failing to listen - she put me at complete ease immediately. She listened to my history to date and gave me meaningful advice, which validated all of my worries. She was recommended to me by a friend and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending her to others. Thank you again Dr Perera, a 20 minute appointment with you resolved months of distress from not receiving appropriate treatment through the NHS Derm team.

I really like coming to The Medical Chambers. Everybody is always extremely nice and helpful and it is a calming environment which is important when you may be there for something not so great. I must say too that Dr Perera is a superstar and I would probably say the nicest doctor that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in my life. She is always patient, calm, open and puts you at ease. I also have total trust in the information that she conveys and treatments that she recommends which is not always the case. Thank you Dr Perera and Medical Chambers!

Dr Perera was extremely approachable and understanding about the skin condition affecting my face. I had prepared question prompts in advance of the consultation so she did not need to invite questions. The only suggestion for improvement I would have is that, for those people who don't pre-prepare questions, a list of necessary skincare options might be given, even in email format for the patient to digest later (ingredients to avoid in makeup, approved brands to try, whether to use make up brushes etc.). This information would compliment the dermatology consultation and a skin-condition-specific skincare regime would work in tandem with prescribed medication. I would definitely return to The Medical Chambers, specifically to Dr Perera, for a follow-up consultation.
