Dr Richard Watchorn is a Consultant Dermatologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust practising in the NHS at Hammersmith Hospital W12, St Mary's Hospital W2 and Charing Cross Hospital SW6 an privately at The Medical Chambers Kensington.
He treats all adult dermatological conditions and has specialist expertise in inflammatory dermatological problems, as well as in male genital dermatology acquired under the mentorship of Professor Christopher Bunker, internationally renowned expert in the field. He is a member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Dr Watchorn qualified at University College Dublin in 2009, and after postgraduate medical training then specialised in dermatology in South West England. He was awarded an EADV Research Fellowship in a Pan--European competitive process for investigation of the pathogenesis of lichen sclerosus at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and DDL Diagnostic Laboratory, Rijswijk, Netherlands.
Dr Watchorn has been an invited speaker at the Annual Congress of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology and has been invited to be a member of faculty on national dermatology courses, including at the Royal College of Physicians. He has multiple publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and continues to participate in research at University College Hospital.

Please note that if you have a minor procedure, such as removal of a skin lesion, a clinic fee will be payable to The Medical Chambers Kensington in addition to Dr Watchorn's fee.
This fee varies from procedure to procedure and our Administration and Reception Team will be able to tell you the amount payable for your procedure. A pathology fee will be payable if we send a sample to a laboratory for analysis.
If you are insured by BUPA, AXA PPP or another insurance company with which we have a direct settlement agreement, we will invoice your Insurer for these clinic/pathology fees provided that you have given us your preauthorisation number.
If we do not have a direct settlement agreement with your insurer, or you are self paying, we will ask you to pay these fees at the time of your appointment.
