Dr Manuraj Singh is a highly experienced and skilled Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist who treats both adults and children. He practised in the NHS at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious teaching hospitals, until recently and continues to practice privately at The Medical Chambers Kensington.
Dr Singh has special expertise in treating hair, scalp and nail disorders, moles, skin cancers, acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin infections, rashes including those in pregnancy, and blistering disorders. He is renowned for his skill and care in carrying out minor surgical procedures, including mole excisions, cyst and lipoma removal and skin biopsies. He is also expert at injecting keloids, alopecia areata and inflamed cysts with steroids.
His main clinical and research interests are in skin cancer and infections.
Very importantly, Dr Singh also has special expertise in Dermatopathology, the diagnosis of conditions by studying skin samples, which greatly assists in the correct diagnosis and management of skin conditions. He has been awarded both the DipRCPath (Dermatopathology) and the ICDP-UEMS Board Certifying Examination for Special Qualification in Dermatopathology.
He graduated from King’s College London School of Medicine as one of the top students in his year, winning many prizes and distinctions. He was awarded the prestigious Jelf Medal, awarded to the most distinguished student during his/her undergraduate career, and was runner-up for The University of London Gold Medal. Dr Singh trained in Dermatology and Dermatopathology at St John's Institute of Dermatology, Barts and The London NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Free Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He was recognised by the British Association of Dermatologists for the best PhD thesis.
He has won or been awarded no less than 15 prizes and grants. He lectures internationally and nationally.
Dr Singh also teaches medical students, dermatology trainees and GPs. He was recently awarded a “Certificate of Commendation for Excellent Teaching” at St George’s University Hospital. He is a previous examiner for the MSc in Clinical Dermatology at Kings College London and has taught GPs for the Diploma in Dermatology at Barts and The London Hospital.

Please note that if you have a minor procedure, such as removal of a skin lesion, a clinic fee will be payable to The Medical Chambers Kensington in addition to Dr Singh’s fee.
This fee varies from procedure to procedure and our Administration and Reception Team will be able to tell you the amount payable for your procedure. A pathology fee will be payable if we send a sample to a laboratory for analysis.
If you are insured by BUPA, AXA-PPP or another insurance company with which we have a direct settlement agreement, we will invoice your Insurer for these clinic/pathology fees provided that you have given us your pre-authorisation number.
