We aim to give you the best service at every stage of your search for the right dentist, from your first enquiry to your first visit. We also give you the opportunity to meet a dentist before committing to becoming a patient. It allows you to decide whether the dentist and the type of treatment you’re looking for is right for you.
What happens during my first visit?
We know that visiting a dentist can make some people nervous - it’s our job to ensure we make you feel comfortable and at ease at every point of your visit. We can talk about any worries you have, address any specific concerns about your oral health and discuss the treatment that may help.
Will I have to have x-rays?
At your first consultation we will thoroughly check your teeth, gums and bite. If there are any issues that need to be addressed, we will ask if it’s all right to take x-rays. The type of x-rays we take vary from small intra-oral ones to full 3D scans of both jaws.
How do you create a treatment plan that’s right for me?
Your first appointment gives us the opportunity to review your usual oral hygiene regime and identify any improvements you can make. Your involvement is a vital part of achieving and maintaining excellent oral health. Once we’ve established what you want, and what can be achieved, we will explore the various treatment options with you.
Can I meet a dentist before committing to being a patient?
Yes. You can ask for a 15 minute meeting with a dentist to ask them about their skills, expertise and the methods of treatment and technology they use. This gives you the opportunity to feel confident that they’re the right dentist for you, before booking in a consultation.
What are the fees involved?
A discussion is free, as we want you to be 100% sure that our treatment is right for you before you decide to become a patient. If you have a dental consultation or any other treatments, our fees are listed here.
When are appointments available?
We will do our best to be flexible to your needs, offering some appointments after work hours and during the weekend. If you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours beforehand, to avoid a fee.
