Have you been thinking about having your teeth straightened, or does your child need to have braces? We have the expertise and innovation to help. We always prioritise your needs and aim to deliver exceptional care for you and your family.
The importance of your smile
Having a smile that you are happy with can significantly boost your confidence, which in turn can have a positive impact on other areas of your life, such as your work and relationships. Having straighter teeth also means they are much easier to clean, and you are less likely to experience tooth decay and gum disease – the biggest causes of tooth loss.
Dr Marie Heintz is a dental surgeon and highly skilled orthodontist. Using state of the art technology and the latest innovations in orthodontic treatment, she will work with you to find the best treatment plan for either you or your child.
What types of orthodontic treatment can you choose from?
Adult orthodontic treatment has come a long way since the days of metal ‘train track’ braces. We understand how you may have a public facing role, or might sometimes want to go out without braces. Luckily there are modern, discreet options that are nearly invisible when you’ve got them on.
We use modern orthodontic systems, including Invisalign - clear custom made aligners that are barely noticeable when in place. Lingual braces are another popular choice - braces fixed to the inside of your teeth, that are completely invisible when you smile. And Invisalign Teen is a perfect option for your teen if they are self-conscious about wearing braces.
What can you expect when you have orthodontic treatment at The Dental Chambers Kensington?
At your initial consultation using a digital scanner and 3D simulation, we can show you what your perfect smile will look like before you start treatment. Before beginning any work, we carry out careful preparations, including X-rays, impressions, and a 3D scan of your mouth, and work with you to create a plan that’s right for your orthodontic needs and lifestyle.
We will carefully monitor your progress through a combination of in-person appointments and the latest dental software, that allows us to keep an eye on the movement of your teeth, without the need for too many clinic visits. Treatment times vary – on average it’s around a year – but you will start noticing results within a few weeks.
