Mr Venkatesh Subramanian is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, specialising in reproductive medicine at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and King's Fertility and privately at The Medical Chambers Kensington. He is the Clinical Lead for Hysteroscopy at King's and the South London Mentor for hysteroscopy training. Mr Subramanian is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London.

Mr Subramanian is also an expert in advanced ultrasound including the diagnosis of endometriosis, 3D gynaecological ultrasound and ultrasound assessment of fallopian tube patency (HyCoSy). His skills in advanced ultrasound have been recognised by The Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and the British Fertility Society.

He was awarded a distinguished Honorary Senior Lectureship by King’s and his commitment to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge enables him to ensure that his patients receive safe effective care.

Mr Subramanian completed his medical degree at the University of Nottingham, followed by training in the renowned South London rotation, including King's College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, both world-famous teaching hospitals  

He became a Member of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and achieved specialist certification with the college in medical and surgical management of infertility, early pregnancy complications, and hysteroscopic surgery. He also holds an MPhil in reproductive surgical simulation.

Mr Subramanian then completed a senior clinical fellowship in reproductive medicine at King's Fertility. During this fellowship, he developed advanced skills in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures, including egg collection, intrauterine insemination and embryo transfer, skills independently accredited by the British Fertility Society.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Subramanian is an active academic and clinical researcher. His work has been published in numerous journals including the British Medical Journal, the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Human Reproduction.  He regularly presents at national and international conferences and has won several awards.

Please note that if you have a minor procedure, such as a coil insertion or a colposcopy, a clinic fee will be payable to The Medical Chambers Kensington in addition to Mr Subramanian's fee.

This fee varies from procedure to procedure and our Administration and Reception Team will be able to tell you the amount payable for your procedure. A pathology fee will be payable if we send a sample to a laboratory for analysis.

If you are insured by BUPA, AXA PPP or another insurance company with which we have a direct settlement agreement, we will invoice your Insurer for these clinic/pathology fees provided that you have given us your preauthorisation number.

If we do not have a direct settlement agreement with your insurer, or you are self paying, we will ask you to pay these fees at the time of your appointment.
