Profile

Anne-Laure Espie is a French-trained Physiotherapist and Osteopath and has been practising in London since 2006. She qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1996 and, in 2004, earned her Osteopathy degree in France. While this qualification is fully recognised in France, it is not formally recognised in the UK. Anne-Laure treats patients of all ages - from newborns to the elderly - combining her extensive knowledge of manual therapy with a personalised, patient-centred approach.

She specialises in manual therapy, including cranial and visceral techniques and manages a wide range of conditions such as back pain, neuralgia (including sciatica and cervicobrachial neuralgia), migraines, torticollis, scoliosis, digestive disorders, tendinitis, frozen shoulders, TMJ dysfunction, vertigo (BPPV) and scar-related issues.

Anne-Laure focuses particularly on women's health issues, supporting patients with dyspareunia, vaginismus, vulvodynia and pelvic floor dysfunction. She also treats pregnancy-related conditions, including back pain, sciatica, water retention, and SPD and offers comprehensive postnatal rehabilitation, addressing pelvic floor recovery, diastasis recti, pain management, and C-section or episiotomy scar care. Her pelvic floor therapy combines hands-on techniques with hypopressive exercises, the Méthode Guillarme , Wellbox by LPG, Winback therapy, and postural correction.

She is skilled in TECAR Therapy (Winback), which uses high frequency technology to stimulate natural tissue regeneration; it is useful in conditions such as frozen shoulder, scar tissue, digestive disorders, endometriosis, dyspareunia, pelvic floor dysfunction, joint pain, inflammation, post-surgical recovery, sciatica and back pain.

Anne-Laure also treats babies, children and teenagers, helping with problems such as scoliosis, kyphosis, postural issues, back pain, congenital torticollis, foot deformities, plagiocephaly, reflux, colic and sleep disturbances.

With extensive experience in neurological and chronic inflammatory conditions, she supports patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Myopathy, Parkinson’s disease, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and hemiplegia.

In addition, Anne-Laure combines techniques such as “pli palpe roule”, TECAR Therapy and drainage to address skin sagging, cellulite and weight management.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, Anne-Laure is recognised for her highly refined manual skills and dedication to providing tailored, compassionate care for every patient.
