60 minute initial consultation
You will have a detailed initial consultation carried out by a Clinical Audiologist with several years’ experience in hearing loss, and in custom fitting hearing aids. Our hearing health checks and hearing tests are more rigorous than those offered on the high-street, and we will discuss your hearing difficulties, lifestyle and medical history.
Comprehensive hearing tests
Our specialists will obtain the most accurate diagnostic picture of your hearing, in order to give you the best experience possible with your hearing aids. We provide a full range of hearing tests including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry and speech testing. We also check for other problems such as tinnitus, balance disorders and ear wax.
Choosing the right hearing aids
Our Audiologist will then work closely with you to find the hearing aids to suit your specific hearing loss and lifestyle. High street chains often have deals with certain brands, and promote a limited range of devices. However, as an independent provider, we stock a wide variety - our sole focus is on finding hearing aids that are right for you.
Custom fitting your hearing aids
Once your hearing aids arrive, we will carefully fine tune the settings, and carry out detailed hearing tests to make sure they are working properly. Your audiologist will take you through how the devices work, how to maintain them and make sure you are completely happy by the end of your appointment.
Exceptional aftercare at The Hearing Clinic Kensington
We will usually see you within 2-3 weeks of your initial fitting to find out how well your hearing aids are working in different situations and fine tune them if needed. We will then continue to see you at regular intervals for check ups and any adjustments..
