Custom ear plugs from The Hearing Clinic Kensington for protection in any loud environment.

Custom Hearing Protection

If you are spending a lot of time in a noisy environment, or are sensitive to loud noises, custom ear plugs can help.

Unlike foam and reusable silicone ear plugs, we offer custom moulded ear protection with a perfect fit which ensures effective noise reduction.

How do I know which ear plugs are right for me?

You will have a 30 minute appointment with one of our audiologists who will recommend the most suitable ear plugs for your acoustic requirements. The audiologist will check your ears and take a mould giving us an imprint of the shape of your ears. We will send it to a specialist manufacturer and you will be able to collect your ear plugs in about 10 working days.

Noise Plugs

The world has become a noisy place, with some people more sensitive to loud sounds than others. Wearing noise plugs can make you feel at ease in situations where you find the sound levels uncomfortable such as travelling on the underground, working in a noisy environment, or even attending a concert. You can use custom-made ear plugs in any situation where you find the sound levels to be excessively loud.

Swim Plugs

Swim plugs are the most effective way to protect your ears when you come in contact with water, especially if you suffer from recurrent ear infections or have a perforation on the eardrum. If you have grommets, we highly recommended that you wear swim plugs during showers and while swimming.

We offer swim plugs to adults and children four years old and above.

Sleep Plugs

If you have tried over-the-counter sleep plugs and find them uncomfortable in the ear or ineffective, then custom-made sleep plugs are the next step. These are ear plugs made to your ear shape using soft, medical grade silicone, that helps reduce the environmental noise around you while you sleep.

Musician Ear Plugs

If you are a musician, DJ or regular concert goer you are at risk of noise-induced hearing loss. According to the Health and Safety Executive, regular exposure to noise levels above 85dB(A) is unsafe and it’s important that you wear ear protectors to prevent damage to your ears and hearing.

We offer specialist hearing solutions from ER Series that allow significant volume reduction without hindering the sound of important frequencies.

Shooting Ear Protection

Firearm shooting is a popular sport – however, it puts the shooter at high risk of noise-induced permanent hearing loss if ear protection is not used. Experts recommend wearing ear plugs and over-ear headphones -  together they provide the most effective hearing protection.
