What scans do we offer?
We provide specialist ultrasound scans for all stages of pregnancy and the full range of gynaecological scans. You will always be seen by our highly experienced sonographer, Ciara McKenna, who is a leading expert in her field, and uses state of the art technology to provide accurate, advanced images and a comprehensive report.
Ultrasound scans in pregnancy
We offer world class expertise in pregnancy ultrasound scanning. Our team are here to guide you and provide detailed advice and information through all stages of your pregnancy.
You can come to us for an early pregnancy scan from week 5 to confirm your pregnancy. We can also exclude other complications such an ectopic pregnancy. From week 6 we can assess the viability and whether or not you are having a multiple pregnancy. This can be hugely reassuring, and we are happy to see you with or without a doctor’s referral.
We provide a 60 minute scan with a detailed assessment of your baby’s development and screening for Down’s syndrome and other physical or chromosomal abnormalities. You will be seen by our specialist sonographer, who has extensive experience in early pregnancy scanning and in pregnancy complications and congenital heart defects.
Private gynaecology ultrasound scans
Our gynaecological ultrasound services are fully integrated within a consultant-led specialist team. We provide state-of-the art pelvic ultrasound scans, including 3D and 4D high resolution images. This comprehensive assessment can help provide a diagnosis for your symptoms so that appropriate treatment can begin as soon as possible.
We provide exceptional care, with enough time during your appointment for you to feel relaxed and comfortable. There are no long waits - you can make an appointment yourself, as soon as you wish, without any need for a referral.
Alternatively, you can see one of our Consultant Gynaecologists and they will organise a scan for you with our specialist sonographer, Ms Ciara McKenna, as part of your appointment.
Ms McKenna is a highly trained women’s health expert, specialising in conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, menopause and infertility, as well as symptoms such as abnormal bleeding during perimenopause and menopause, pelvic pain and heavy periods.
